While My Za'atar Gently Weeps Refill
Middle Eastern Spice

- 2 small heads or one very large head of broccoli, chopped into small bite-sized florets
- ¼ cup sliced almonds
- ¼ cup dried fruit such as cherries, cranberries or blueberries
- ¼ cup pumpkin or sunflower seeds
- ¼ chopped cilantro
For the Dressing:
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp While My Za'atar Gently Weeps Middle Eastern Spice Blend
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 3 tbsp pomegranate vinegar (or balsamic)
- a pinch of red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp sea salt
Directions
- In a small mixing bowl add the dressing ingredients together and whisk until well combined.
- In a large bowl, add the broccoli florets, raisins, almonds, seeds and cilantro.
- Add the dressing on top and toss until each piece of broccoli is coated with the dressing;add more salt if needed.
- Serve as a side or enjoy as a delicious lunch salad.
